PhD Students

I started to supervise PhD students in 2000, shortly after I returned to academia, first as Professor of Finance at the Henley Business School and then in my current role at Sussex.

​

I have had the privilege of working with some very talented young people, and the great majority of my published papers have been co-authored with them, during or after completing their PhD.

​

Most subsequently followed a career path in financial markets, if not immediately, then eventually after some years as junior faculty. My CV contains detailed information about their doctoral theses.
